Initially our services were mainly related to maritime transport, which is still the main core of our activity. As our company developed, we expanded the scope of our activities to cargo, CMR and other non-marine surveys by employing educated and skilled personnel. Apart from the loss adjusting and cargo survey work, in this part of the Baltic we are known for surveys on technical heavy lift projects and warranty surveys including towage approvals on various projects from the Polish Yards: e.g. vessel hulls and hull sections, offshore projects for wind energy and oil majors. Our surveyors, engineers, master mariners, ISO auditors, cargo experts and claim handlers are highly educated and qualified specialists, certified by the IRU Academy, International Institute of Container Lessors, the Polish Chamber of Maritime Commerce, the Polish Chamber of Logistics and Forwarding, certified dangerous goods safety advisors (ADR, RID) and we are also members of various reputable international professional institutions including the International Institute of Marine Surveying. We act as flag state inspectors for the maritime administrations of Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Republic of Liberia, Marshall Islands and Vanuatu. The company is also a member of IVR Rotterdam, the European association of inland shipping. JG-Marine Surveyors Co. Ltd. not only represents a long standing tradition, but also ensures the highest quality of service of a stable company. We have set our offices in three convenient locations, i.e. Sopot, located in between the ports of Gdynia and Gdansk, at Szczecin in western Poland and in Warsaw the capital of Poland so as to coordinate surveys inland. Our offices are equipped with the necessary technical literature and publications, but also our private maritime museum includes the first navigation and shipbuilding manuals of the 17-th century. We employ a permanent staff and our HSEQ company policy ensures high quality of service and a safe working environment. Our advantage is not only the marine seagoing experience, which is no more in Western Europe, but also the advantage of speaking various languages including Russian, therefore we can definitely assist all over Eastern Europe. Our experts are trained and certified by DNV-GL in HAZOP, vetting inspections, risk assessment and accident investigation.
