ORDERS:
As part of Disability interventions in MEPMA , in collaboration with M/S BMVSS,Hyderabad Branch of Jaipur Limbs) have conducted free Aids & Appliances camps (10) inl0 districts. Vide reference 1't cited read above , it is proposed to facilitate free Aids &Appliances to Person with Disabilities ) from l6'h March 2017 to 29th March 2017 in FourDistricts of Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam , Nalgonda PWDs and Children with SpecialNeeds for fabrication and fitment of caiipers, Artificiai Lirnbs and Splints
Accordingly, for these camps technical persons are being deputed to districts fromBhagavan Mahavir Vikalang Sahayata Samiti -BMVSS (Hyderabad branch of JaipurArtificial Limbs) which is reputed NGO having experience for the fitment The camp will befor 3 days and further extendable as per the needs . The persons will take not oniylneasurement but also undertake fabrication and fitment of walkers, Calipers and ArtificialLimbs to the PWDs and CWSNs in the camp itself.

Hence The District Project Directors of Karimnagar,Warangal, Khammam and
Nalgonda MEPMA are directed to mobilize the needy persons of PWDs (minrmum 250
needy persons ) from all near by ULBs of concern District for Aids & Appliances fitment
cum for three days going to conduct from 16th March 2017 to 29'h March 20I'7 and fbllow
the guidelines for smooth conduct of the of the above said Camp as per the annexure -l
Hence the District Project Directors of Karimnagar,Warangal, Khammam and
Nalgonda MEPMA are directed to send the test check report certified by the PD and
counter signed by the District Collector.
The PDs are requested to ensure that the camps are conducted effectively and the
PWDs are not put to any inconvenience during the camps.
Therefore, Sanctioned is accorded for the payment of Rs 50,000/-( Rupees Fifty
thousand only ) each district towards Aids & Appliances fitment camps with - Bhagavan
Mahavir Vikalang Sahayata Samiti( BMVSS ) of MEPMA District Project Directors of
i(arimnagar,Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda
Hence, the Finance Manager, MEPMA is requested to release an amount of
Rs. 2,00,000/- ( Rupees Two Lakhs only) towards Aids & Appliances fitment camps with -
Bhagavan Mahavir Vikalang Sahayata Samiti( BMVSS ) of MEPMA District Project
Directors of Karimnagar,Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda as per the statement of
annexure -ll .

Annexure -1-Guidelines to conduct the Aids & Appliances fitment camps with -Bhagavan Mahavir Vikalang Sahayata Samiti( BMVSS)
o Preparatory meeting with District Officers : Under the chairmanship of the DistriciCollector, preparatory meeting shall be orgamze with district level officers" i.e..Project Director,IKP-Urban, project Director, DRDA, AD,DW dept, privateHospitais, Municipal Commissioners, MEPMA Staff and NGOs working in the fieldof Disability etc., may be held for fixing the venue, Empanelling the physiotherapiststeam for screening camps and Roles & Responsibilities of the officers stratt Ue workedout.
' Logistics- Venue Identification: Open space and 10 rooms with electricity and waterfacilities to be identified (preferably TTDC/TTD Kalayanan Manaiapama,pvtTeaching hospitals,Govt. / Municipal High School with large space with l0 rooms;. arnike may be used for guiding the disabled persons during the campTransport plan forthe beneficiaries from the towns to the camp site.
o For tiris purpose arange food, water and refreshments for the beneficiaries,Volunteers, Technicians, Officials and Doctors ( Local donors/ Philanthropists may beidentified).Availability of Services of an Orthopedic Doctor and 1 - 2 physiotherupistsfor conducting the screening for prescribing the Proper Aids & Appliances for thebeneficiaries i.e, Calipers (KAFO/ KHAFo),Artificial Limbs (Above Knee prosthesis/Below Knee Prosthesis) and Auxiliary crutches, Elbow crutches etc.o Three Phases unintemrpted power supply from 8 AM to 8.00 PM at the camp venue.o Providing accommodation for BMVSS Technicians separate four rooms and oneroom for organizer.
r Provision of four gas cylinders for the heaters to mould the artificial limbs.o Errection of Shamiyana,tables (10) and plastic chars (50) at the venue.o Inform the local Hon'ble Minister, local MLA & Chairperson / Mayor/ SpecialOfficer i Municipal Commissioner personally to visit the camp.Boarding & Lodgingarrangements for 5 technicians of (Jaipur Limb centre) BMVSS. One room for campcoordinator for stay during the camp.
' Wide publicity is to be made through local media, Pamphlets and through SHGS ofPWDs, TVs, TLFs and MEPMA functionaries.The transport for the pWDbeneficiaries from the concerned towns to camp venue shall be arranged inconsultation with the Municipal Commissioners.
o About 15 volunteers including if possible some physiotherapy students to train theGait training for beneficiaries after fitment.
o The District Project Directors may issue press statement but it must be specified thatthe camp is limited to the orthopedically handicapped only
' The District Project Directors MEPMA are requested to install two computers withintemet connectivity and printers with operators to make registration. Therl should befixed registration time from 8 AM to 1 PM to avoid last minute rush. Only thecandidate who got regishation before 1PM will be examined till evening.e Counters are to be arranged nearer to one another viz registration counters andNecessary boards are displayed in each counter to avoid confusion.
o The Assistant Engineer A.P Transco is requested to maintain continuous powersupply from 8 A.M to 8 P.M. at the camp during the camp days.
