NOTES

A court shall issue a default judgement in civil law cases if the defendant/plaintiff fails to appear at the

hearing or being present at the hearing takes no active part in the process, in which case the statements of facts that are made by the claimant in the claim form or in other letters that were served on the defendant prior to the hearing

shall be deemed true unless there is a reasonable doubt with regard thereto or such statements have been provided to evade law.
