Children’s Ministry

Preschool Choir(3 and 4 years old) and Children’s Choir (5 years - 6th grade)Beginning Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:15 pm, we will start Preschool Choir and Children’s Choir rehearsals, which will take the AWANA time slot throughout the summer. We will be rehearsing for our end of summer musical scheduled for August 12th.

Centrikid Camp at Shocco Springs (3rd-6th grade)July 13th – 15th Cost $210The theme at this year’s camp is Blueprint: God’s Design! Our kids will be learning how they are His workmanship and created in His image. God’s blueprint shows us that we are truly loved, completely forgiven, and prepared for a purpose to share the gospel. The balance of $160 is due NLT June 17th.

Women’s Ministry

Precept Women’s Bible StudyFall Studies – Colossians and Philemon, and ExodusThe fi rst class offered of Colossians and Philemon will be taught on Sundays, beginning August 12th from 3:30-5:15 pm. A second class of Colossians and Philemon will be taught on Mondays, beginning August 13th, from 9:00-11:00 am. The cost of the book is $22. Exodus will be taught on Tuesdays, beginning August 14th, from 6:00-8:00 pm and the cost of the book is $27. The fi rst order of workbooks will be placed on June 4th. VBS SHIRTS! $10 eachDri-fi t polyester material, not cotton tees. Kid sizes XS-XL (size 4-20). Adult sizes XS-4X. Must have payment and order by May 20th. These shirts are EMBC Bible School shirt for the near future. They can be worn in future year’s VBS and passed down to younger siblings. Stop by the VBS table in the lobby to place your order.

VBS NeedsWe are in great need of Rotel/soup cans or small vegetable cans! Please wash and remove the label from the can. Also, raid your workbench, junk drawer and craft supplies for small nuts, bolts, springs, hooks & washers, wire nuts, picture hangers, rubber gaskets, ribbon & mini pompoms, anything that could be used to make a face. Make sure the item doesn’t have sharp or rough edges. Place items in the lime green tote in the church lobby. If you have any questions, please call the church offi ce at 334-365-7500.
