Para diseñar y prescribir un sistema, conviene proceder de la siguiente manera:

1 Seleccionar la trama del techo.

2 Determinar la distancia entre ejes

de la zona técnica.

3 Elegir las dimensiones y detalles de borde

de los paneles modulares.

4 Seleccionar la perfilería compatible

con Armstrong® TECH ZONE.

5 Seleccionar el detalle de borde y el tipo

de panel técnico.

6 Elegir los elementos técnicos para integración.

Según los países o las regiones, la trama de los edificios puede variar. Puede ocurrir también que un arquitecto o promotor exporte su lógica de módulos. Armstrong® TECHZONE ha sido desarrollado para ser integrado en las tramas de edificio más utilizadas (1200 mm, 1350 mm, 1500 mm, 1800 mm, etc.): se puede posicionar la zona técnica lineal en paralelo o perpendicular a la fachada.

La combinación de los sistemas de suspensión, paneles y elementos técnicos es casi infinita. Las siguientes ilustraciones permiten tener una idea aproximada de lo que se puede obtener. The Challenge:

Clemmons Architecture is renowned for its renova-tions of older structures.

They wanted to design a luxurious environment pro-viding excellent acoustical comfort to a building with open plan offices, that dated back to 1926.

Renovation of a traditional ceiling system for acoustics & aesthetics.

The Solution : TECH ZONE

Acoustics:

“Our old offices had a lot of hard surfaces, including a plasterboard ceiling so there was not much auditory privacy. “The new cei ling makes a big difference, both in terms of privacy and the overall noise level.”

Aesthetics:

“We really liked the clean, modern look of the system,” he states. “Compared to a traditional ceiling system, it is far less busy. And, because of the size of the panels and their fine-tex tured surface, most visitors don’t even realise it’s an acoustical ceiling.”

Modular system for an easy installation.

“We also liked the modularity of the system,” he adds, “because it eliminates much of the guesswork for the ceiling contractor in terms of where to place the lights, sprinklers and such. It’s much more predictable, which means fewer problems for the contractor.”

Założenia:

Firma Clemmons Architecture jest znana z przepro-wadzania renowacji istniejących budynków.

Zamiarem było zaprojektowanie luksusowego środowiska pracy zapewniającego komfort akustyczny w biurach wielkoprzestrzennych, w budynku z 1926.

Renowacja tradycyjnego sufitu w celu uzyskania wysokiej jakości pod względem estetyki i akustyki.

Rozwiązanie: TECH ZONE

Akustyka:

„Nasze biuro było wyposażone w wiele materiałów o twardych powierzchniach, włączając w to sufit z płyty gipsowo-kartonowej, co skutkowało nadmiernym hałasem. Zastosowanie nowego sufitu znacząco zmieniło środowisko akustyczne, zarówno w kwestii prywatności jak i zmniejszenia ogólnego poziomu hałasu we wnętrzu”.

Akustik:

“Unsere alten Büroräume hatten viele harte Oberflächen, darunter eine Gipskartondecke, die die Privatsphäre sehr beeinträchtigten. Die neue Decke bewirkte ein große Veränderung, sowohl bei der Privatsphäre als auch beim Lärmpegel insgesamt.”

Ästhetik:

“Der klare, moderne Look des Deckensystems gefällt uns sehr,” sagt er. “Im Vergleich zu einem herkömmlichen Deckensystem, ist sie viel ruhiger. Und aufgrund der Größe der Deckenplatten und der fein strukturierten Oberfläche erkennen die meisten Besucher überhaupt nicht, dass es sich um eine abgehängte Decke handelt.”

Modulares System für einfache Installation.

“Uns gefällt auch der modulare Aufbau des Systems” fügt er hinzu, “da der Verleger der Decke gar nicht groß darüber nachdenken musste, wo die Leuchten, Sprinkler und ähnliches integriert werden sollten. Das ist jetzt viel besser planbar und bedeutet weni-ger Probleme für den Verleger.”

La sfida:

Clemmons Architecture è nota per la ristrutturazione di edifici antichi.

Con il trasferimento in un edificio del 1926, l’agenzia cercava un ambiente gradevole, ma anche un’acustica di qualità, con una configurazione in open space.

Rinnovamento acustico ed estetico di un soffitto tradizionale.

La soluzione: TECH ZONE

L’agenzia ha scelto il sistema Armstrong® TECH ZONE per diverse ragioni.

“Gli uffici precedenti erano pieni di superfici riverberanti tra cui un soffitto in cartongesso. Non c’era quindi molta intimità in termini di acustica. Questo nuovo soffitto ha cambiato notevolmente la situazione, in termini di spazio privato e al tempo stesso di ambiente acustico”.

L’altra ragione è stata l’estetica. “Abbiamo sinceramente apprezzato la nobiltà e l’eleganza di questa nuova soluzione. Di gran lunga meno pesante di un soffitto tradizionale, la dimensione dei pannelli così come la sottile struttura ci hanno fatto quasi dimenticare che si tratta di un soffitto acustico”.

“Siamo stati inoltre sorpresi dalla modularità del sistema che è una vera e propria garanzia di serenità sul cantiere, in termini di luci, rilevatori di fumo ecc. Il fatto di prevedere il collegamento di tutti gli elementi lascia molto meno spazio all’improvvisazione e rassicura impresa”.

Acústica:

“Nuestros antiguos locales tenían muchas superficies reverberantes, entre otras un techo de escayola. No había entonces mucha intimidad en términos de acústica. Este nuevo techo es una diferencia favorable a la vez en términos de espacio privado y de ambiente sonoro”.

Estética:

La otra razón es la estética. “Hemos apreciado sinceramente la nobleza y la elegancia de este nuevo concepto. Mucho menos cargado que un techo tradicional, el tamaño de los paneles y la textura fina de su superficie nos han hecho olvidar que se trata de un techo acústico”.

“La modulación del sistema nos ha también im-presionado dado que es una verdadera prenda de serenidad en la obra, en términos de luminarias, detectores de humo, etc. El hecho de unificar la conexión de todos los elementos deja mucho menos margen a los imprevistos”
