Over the last months and years, I have published several Guides in

regards to Peace Time TR’s. Personally I find it is the foundation of

what you want to do and what you want to accomplish in the game

for yourself. After Ab Urbe Condita, there is now Ab Urbe Condita

II. Due to higher MT’s, you can accomplish more with less cards.

When looking at TR’s from various players in various domains, I

notice that most do not Respect or Follow the logic of the Caps.

The Caps can be divided easily in 2 categories:

1) Battle stats

2) Non-Battle stats

The Non-Battle Stats are the stats that Revive troops, give Raid

Bonus, Train Troops, Craft, Upkeep Reduction etc.

You either want to focus on a selection of them, or you want the

Peace time stats as broad as possible. Aka cover as much stats as

you want close to the cap. Reach the cap, or be as close as possible.

Going over the Caps has no benefit for non-Battle stats. It will

simply stop working after the imposed cap. Sometimes it can’t be

avoided due to upgrading a Card or Cards to high levels.

But 2500 march speed is not needed, nor 10.000 resource production.

Battle Stats is different, there you want as much as possible, because

an opponent can debuff you.

Page 3: Ab Urbe Condita II

The Resourceful 4 (you cover most)

These 4 cards with the correct

jewels applied give you a lot of

useful stats.

Every important stat in green has

reached the CAP and the stats for

“increased population” are close

to the CAP.

You can Train troops, March,

craft, construct etc. at full Speed.

Page 4: Ab Urbe Condita II

Storehouse protection is one of the most valuable stats to have in

your Peace time TR. At the CAP of 1250% it will protect 1.4 billion

resources so if hit, you will not starve straight away and gives your

alliance time to send you food. If you have enough RAIDS going,

you can never be starved. NO Storehouse Protection at CAP is a very

bad choice.

Unfortunately, “Increased City Value” does not come as a Jewel, to

add to the Minstrel for example.

Therefore, a Card with those stats took the place of the Minstrel.

Adding a Life Jewel to it, to take care of those stats.

Increased Population Cap is 75%, and with the Royal Castellan you

reach 70%, although there are 2 versions.

This one has Population at line 3.

The Cresting and completing 5

By adding GENERAL Battle stats, you can have

1 approach for many purposes. Why?

Bonus vs DF = Attack + Defense + Life

Bonus vs Barbarian Camp = Attack + Defense

Bonus Vs Wilds = Attack + Defense

The Caps on Attack (1000%) & Defense

(5000%) & Life (250%)

By having general stats, you can attack Wilds,

Raid & Crest Barbs and DF. Without the need

for specific Bonus Vs Cards.

Page 6: Ab Urbe Condita II

In addition, with The Huntress, the general “Chance to find items”

has now been added which covers all chance and is preferred over

‘Chance to find items in DF” (specific stat) etc.

Accuracy is now covered as well.

Since most Cresting tasks require Cap stats, Like Defense, Life,

Range, Attack, you can attack / Crest wilds.

You can Attack Barb Camps till level 10. Higher Levels require

SpellPower.

If you follow the RAID safe Numbers, you can RAID without a TR,

till Level 10 Barb Camps.

You can defeat Dark Forests levels 1-15.

In addition, by having “Ore Guardian Troop Attack Buff” (OGTAB)

you can increase the Attack stats by another 30%. This is GREAT

when you DF with scouts. Giving them or other troops you use,

higher Attack Stats. OGTAB came originally only on Windows, but

we will see it soon on other Unique Cards.

Page 7: Ab Urbe Condita II

Now that 9 out of 12 Cards have been placed, you can complete a lot

tasks in game. From transporting to Cresting, to training, upkeep,

chance to find etc.

With 3 Card Spots open, you can now apply your Personal 3 cards,

that basically decide what you want to do.

- Apply SpellPower if you want to go Cresting higher levels barbs.

- Apply 3 Tower Cards.

- Apply more Battle stats, so you can be reinforced.

- A mix of the above.

So, what the personal 3 are for you, that is something you decide.

Page 8: Ab Urbe Condita II

The personal 3 (Your Choice)

If you go Towers Defense, here are a few suggestions,

Or SpellPower

Apply jewels to suit your needs or Card needs. Don’t forget to squeeze

some bonus to X-bows or Bonus to Greek Fire.

If the Cards are high enough you can accomplish the Tower Caps in 3

Cards. This gives you the option to use SpellPower Cards instead of

Tower Cards.

The New Banner with “Wood Guardian Troop Buff”, helps certainly on

Defense, but as the name clarifies, it boosts troops. Not Wall or Field

Defenses nor the 2 Towers.

Conclusion: Decide what you want to do and then check what you have as

cards and jewels.

Broad approach, with many caps, or specialist approach.

You do not have to copy this preset, as long as you understand

to build them up, on non battle stats, then battle stats, and then

personal preference.

The personal preference may vary for each player, maybe you

want to add more battle stats or else.

Just remember, with this TR I hardly have to change anything, I

can start DF’ing, crest a level 15 barb, attack a wild, Train

troops, etc., and even the last Merc events I had to change

noting and I could crest them straight away. (I was also able to

crest them with this TR with 15k arch + 1 soul or 15k

SoulStealers)

Check from time to time your cards when you upgrade them if

items are far over CAP. Then you can adjust with jewels to

obtain other stats.

Check the caps if unsure! PB+ has a reference tab

Page 11: Ab Urbe Condita II

This is in NO WAY to ridicule players and their choices they

made by showing various examples.

You can be a Chancellor, a VC, an Officer or just a member, but

it is also trivial to help adjust your Alliance members to better

TR’s.

Very important is that you have Storehouse protection up to

CAP to protect yourself from farming till desertion.

Overall rethink again, your strategy, what you want to

accomplish? Resource production, Training Troops etc.

Adjust your cards when they get higher, as you see you can

accomplish a lot with just 4 cards and the right jewels!

Try to look past the specific cards like “bonus Vs” and apply

general stats, you will accomplish more.

Learn the CAPS or check them regularly!

Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes, it gives you and edge, or advantage, but

it leaves also many people clueless. The objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have

a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the better the overall experience is for all players.

More attacking and defending means “lively” domains full of activity.
