Brzeszcze is a little town near Oświęcim. Oświęcim

is a place where was KL Auchwitz Birkenau(a

concentration camp) during the II war. Now, Oświęcim is a

wonderful town with parks, colour streets and ordinary and

nice people who know and remember tragic history of their town. There is also a museum. It

is called Auchwitz Birkenau Museum.

Brzeszcze was and still are closely connected with

Oświęcim. During the II war there was Arbeitslager

Jawischowitz, a subcamp of Auschwitz.

Arbeitslager Jawischowitz had been since 18 January 1945.

Now, there is a park but we have still some ruins of this subcamp.
