Some beautiful moments

• An interesting journey of life

-Full of challenges,

-Some moments of despair and

-Occasions of celebrations

• Started my career by teaching school children and then moved on to teaching management students

Education is Light

Proud to be pioneer of international exchange program at GDGWI | Lancaster University,

UK

Empowering rural women has been the most gratifying experience

• Urge to give back to society

• Hit upon an idea of ISR (Individual Social Responsibility) and need for developing it in students

• I always believed, preached and practiced that an individual needs to be socially responsible first before she / he talks of CSR

Education is Light

Experience Nepal and UK

Addressing freshers’ in process of churning out true empathetic

corporate leaders

• Life exposed me to the real India while I was working as an educator trying to instill social responsibility amongst students.

• Then one thing happened after another and soon I had made a switchover from educator to social worker.

• Education still continues to be my passion and remains at the core while I am doing social work or practicing CSR.

The Twist

Write injuries in sand, kindness in marble

• Starting from primary school teaching in an undeveloped area of Arunachal

• Starting of a new English medium school from scratch in Bangladesh

• Coming back to India and putting a cheating proof examination system

Challenges, Trials and Tribulations

• Working in Khonsa, a place at Burmaboarder with no basic amenities forestablishing a police pre primaryschool in 1994 was a life timeexperience.

• Felt responsible to share myknowledge & experience in Itanagarto provide computer and high schoolsciences to a school which did nothave a facility. Education, health andhygiene were primary issues.

• Gratified to motivate students fromEnvironmental Protection Society tokeep the city clean and greenpromoted the campaign of “Stopplastic” to prevent the city fromsuffocating.

My experience of North East

Some Aha moments

• When you push people to come out of their comfort zones there is a natural resistance to change, which I have faced often.

• Also passionate people are often looked at by some colleagues with suspicion as if they have a hidden agenda.

• My passion for holistic education had often put me in such situations

Challenges, Trials and Tribulations

Joy of Giving

• Today as CEO of a foundation of India’s largest education solution providing company,

-I engage with students & community on one side
